With this here provided virtual appliance (VA), called ARMSDK-VM, Ka-Ro supplies a development environment, which is a pre-configured, feature stable and "known to work" solution.
Note: Please be aware that this VA is inteded to be used with VMWare Player/Workstation, newer version have changed this to the Orcale Virtualbox solution.
This version is named "Squeeze", after the Debian GNU/Linux distribution of the same name upon which it is based. It's target and focus is customers using the following TX series COM:
- TX28
- TX48
- TX51
- TX53
- TX6 (please use the "Wheezy" version)
Note: Customers of the TX25 series COM are required to use the previous, nay, legacy version available in the respective category of the TX25 when using the TX25's Ka-Ro Linux BSP.
Customers can use the VA to e.g. customise bootloader, Linux kernel or root-file-system of the Ka-Ro BSP.
